3. TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms govern the services provided by Bright Green Roof Central Florida LLC and the Client’s obligations.
3.1. Estimates and Pricing
Estimates are based on the Client’s information and are subject to change upon inspection of the property. Any changes to pricing due to unforeseen factors will be communicated for approval before work continues. Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance.
3.2. Services Provided
The Company offers roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, shingle rejuvenation, and exterior surface cleaning services. Bright Green Roof Central Florida LLC is not a licensed roofing contractor. Any work requiring a licensed roofing contractor will be referred to a qualified professional. General roof maintenance services (e.g., correcting exposed nails, securing loose shingles) are performed to the best of our ability but are not covered by warranties or guarantees.
3.3. Chemical Use Disclaimer
Cleaning solutions, including Sodium Hypochlorite, may cause unintended damage to vegetation, property, or structures. We take reasonable precautions to prevent such damage, but the Client acknowledges these risks and releases the Company from liability for any resulting issues.
3.3a. Property Owner Responsibilities
- Chemical Runoff Risk: Our roof cleaning services use professional-grade solutions, including Sodium Hypochlorite, in accordance with industry guidelines. While we perform a thorough rinse of the roof after cleaning, Sodium Hypochlorite may reactivate if rainwater carries residual chemical runoff onto plants, bushes, or other vegetation.
- Minimizing Damage: The Client is responsible for additional watering of landscaping and vegetation following project completion, especially after rainfall, to mitigate potential chemical effects.
- Notice of Risk: Bright Green Roof Central Florida LLC will take reasonable precautions to protect your property during the service, but the Client acknowledges that the responsibility for post-project watering lies with them.
- Limitation of Liability: The Company is not liable for damage to vegetation, landscaping, or property caused by chemical runoff after rainfall.
3.4. Shingle Rejuvenation Warranty
Our shingle rejuvenation treatment includes a transferable five-year warranty for pliability and flexibility. If shingles lose pliability during this period, we will re-treat them at no additional cost, subject to warranty conditions.
3.5. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Orange County, Florida.
4. Referral Program Policy
4.1. Program Overview
The Referral Program rewards eligible individuals (“Referrers”) for successfully referring new customers for our Shingle Rejuvenation Treatment.
4.2. Eligibility
Open to U.S. residents aged 18 or older.
Employees and their immediate families are not eligible unless granted prior written consent.
Referrals must be submitted via the Referral Submission Form at www.brightgreenroofcf.com/talk.
4.3. Rewards
- Referrers earn $10 per roof square (100 square feet) treated.
- Payment is issued after the referred customer completes the project and payment is received.
- Rewards can be received as cash, a customer discount, or a donation to Christmas Dreams, a nonprofit supporting terminally ill children.
4.4. Tax Obligations
Rewards exceeding $600 in a calendar year require submission of a W-9 form. A 1099-NEC form will be issued for tax purposes.
4.5. Prohibited Conduct
- Referrers must have the referred party’s explicit consent to share their contact information.
- Submitting spam or false referrals is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
4.6. Dispute Resolution
Disputes arising from the Referral Program will be resolved at the sole discretion of Bright Green Roof Central Florida LLC.
